From Sarmishsay to me - the path traveled by the nation

In the depths of each person's heart, there are honorable thoughts and hopes known only to himself and to Allah. He does not share these good feelings with anyone, he whispers and remembers them with a smile when he is alone.
He firmly believes that these thoughts and hopes will come true someday. This hidden and beautiful secret always gives meaning to his life and strength to his soul.
And one day this hope will come true. This reality is the core of a person's life.
The people also have national treasures that are hidden and not given to others. Not everyone knows it.
In this sense, Abdulhamid Cholpan's allegory "The people are the sea" is very deep. There are huge treasures at the bottom of this sea.
Only a skilled diver can retrieve it one day and convey its message to others. * * * An unparalleled cultural event took place in the history of Uzbekistan's statehood!
The Center of Islamic Civilization was established in Tashkent. It is no exaggeration to say that this center, which was created in nine years, according to the initiative and decision of the President of Uzbekistan, is a place where the past and the future are connected, it contains the history of our statehood for three thousand years, and it has truly become a symbol of the pride of our people.
This is the first news about the establishment of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan the speech of the head of state at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly on September 19, 2017 was announced to the world. And finally, today, this intention has been fulfilled.
A noble dream has come true. The center building, built on a 10-hectare area, is 161 meters long and 118 meters wide, and consists of three floors.
The height of the dome in the center is 65 meters. The building occupies an area of 1.8 hectares, the area of use is 42 thousand square meters.

- The age of Neanderthal human bones found in Teshiktash cave was determined to be more than 70 thousand years old after DNA tests. Until this cave was discovered, not only the history of our country, but also the past of the peoples of Central Asia were looked upon in the West with disdain.
-
According to their claims, the Aryan view that the original history began with us, and that there was no trace of life in other places when civilization appeared in us, was often repeated in scientific circles. However, this cave and the artifacts found by the expedition led by archaeologist Alexey Okladnikov drew the attention of the whole world to Central Asia, Uzbekistan.
It was recognized that the first people lived in these places since ancient times, and the Zovtalashgan Gorge entered the history of science. Having said these words, the presence of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Hazrat Imam Complex, not far away, seems like a pleasant dream.
But this is not a dream, it is reality. The entire path of our people, our entire history has gathered at this destination.
... Oh, Ox and Yaksart, Jayhun and Sayhun, Amudarya and Syrdarya...
oh, mother rivers that have not changed their names, even if their names have changed, they have not dried up, and they have not forgotten their sacred duty... In the upper and lower valleys, my ancient ancestors built houses, my grandfathers built a state, the caravans of the past drank water and quenched their thirst until today.
The wise poet Abdulla Oripov wrote "Only the people live, only the people remain." Haqrost: the blood of our ancestors who lived on the banks of these rivers flows like these rivers today. It seems that the caravans of Vazmin, who traveled the three-thousand-year-old path of history, have come to a stop at the wide avenue of Hazrat Imam's complex.
Not only three thousand years, but also the product of the time from the time of the outbreak of smallpox to the present is collected here. From a Neanderthal grandfather sitting on a bonfire to arrows and bows made 80 thousand years ago (Abirahmat cave.
found in Bostanliq district), to the Sarmishsay rock paintings, which are the art of the Muste period lasting 100,000 years, from the ancient pre-Islamic states - Bactria, Khorezm, Sogd, Choch and Parkana (Davan state. Fergana) to the stages of development after the introduction of Islam...
Then the glorious past, which entered the history of the world under the name of the first renaissance, where the children of Movarounnahr brought to the world - dozens of great names, hundreds of world discoveries - begins. "Scale of the Nile" Christopher Columbus, who deeply studied the works of Farghani, who created the device, is a witness of the discovery of America, while Beruni's work "India" written 462 years before Columbus's voyage, gave specific information about this place.
The great scientist of our time, American Frederic Starr, did not without reason call the era of this scholar, who determined the Earth's radius, meridian, and the distance between the Moon and the Earth in the 11th century, the "Beruni Age". The first renaissance period is so dense and rich that it is hard to believe that such a huge rise could happen in one place in a few centuries.
After all, three or four centuries is like a matter of seconds in front of infinite time. Muhammad Khorezmi, Beruni, Ibn Sina, Farghani, Farabi, Bukhari, Termizi, Gijduvani, and Yassavi have contributed to the threshing floor of humanity.
Each of them started a period of spiritual growth. The second renaissance begins with Amir Temur.
As written in "Shahnoma" by Abulqasim Firdavsi, there have been many crown princes in history. But not all of them were lucky enough to create the most prosperous, enlightened empire and change the path of war and ignorance towards goodness.
In this sense, Amir Temur is unique. The second renaissance period, which began with Timur, covers a long period with the activities of ancestors such as Shahrukh Mirzo, Mirzo Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi, Shaybani Khan, Mirzo Babur, Kamoliddin Behzod.
At the moment, monuments from the time of Amir Temur and the Timurids have been identified in 16 countries of the world. * * * Remembering the long history, remembering the past breeds and great evolutions, you will involuntarily enter the halls of the grand center.
It's like getting off the vulture of history and entering the territory of today. The scene of the historical battles between Tomaris and the Iranian king Cyrus, whether you see the exhibits of that time, the images of the courage of the enlightened Jadids of the 20th century, whether you come across the original copy of their works, the thought that everything is ours lifts the heart and the feeling.
On the main door of the center, the 1st verse of Surah Alaq - The words "Read in the name of your Creator" are written. During the journey that begins with such a divine invitation, a person enters a special state, as if he has experienced a great period.
The road from the Sarmishsay rock paintings in the center to today - to our time - will amaze any traveler. But at the bottom of this fatigue there is also a great relaxation.
This is a time to return to pride and identity, to get to know yourself, and to think. The main hall in the center is the Holy Qur'an Hall.
The spiritual masterpiece of the Muslim world is located here - the Usman Mushafi, which was copied by hand in the 7th century and sprinkled with the blessed blood of Caliph Usman, may God be pleased with him. On the walls of this hall, eight silk carpets with Mus'haf verses are displayed in four arches.
A huge 50-ton chandelier is installed under the 65-meter-high dome, which is decorated with more than one million precious stones. Here are the manuscripts included in the 114 Qur'an projects related to Uzbekistan, which are kept in world funds.

- History seems to go back. The departed ancestors came back to life.
-
It's as if the wall of time in the middle has been removed... The three-thousand-year-old deer statue, the copy of Ibn Sina's work copied in the 15th century, and the airy dress of Saraymulkhanim are also here.
Here are the oldest chess pieces and Jadids original items of grandfathers... In the corner there are images from the past life of the people who are cotton growers, cotton growers, cattle breeders, and people with gray shoulders.
No matter how many times it has been under invasions and oppression, this nation has preserved its treasures like a great sea. Today, the national treasure has found its place, its value, its rightful place.
Hundreds of manuscripts and antiques were bought from foreign libraries and museums. How many more are in distant lands.
For example, Mirzo Ulugbek's jade bowl is kept in the British Museum, Navoi's first divan (copied in 1465) is kept in the Russian National Library, "Khamsa" copied during his lifetime is kept in the Bodleian Library of Great Britain... * * * The center's exposition "New Uzbekistan - New Renaissance" requires special attention from every viewer, which highlights the socio-economic, political-legal and spiritual-educational reforms, achievements, and priorities of foreign and domestic policy implemented in our country in the last nine years.
In a word, the Center of Islamic Civilization has become a huge monument for our country, historically, politically, religiously, and spiritually, as worthy as an eye on a golden ring, in which both history and the future live. As they say, seeing once is better than hearing a thousand, and every friend of ours should come and visit this center.
After all, pilgrimage to the homeland is every day! * * * There are things that need to be done at some point, and if they are not carried out, the original goal cannot be reached, and there are things that affect the country's prospects.
There is such a task in the destiny of every nation. The establishment of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan was the fulfillment of such centuries-old dreams, a great work and mission that our people have been waiting for a long time.
This duty has been fulfilled. Sabir JUMA Y EV "Spiritual life" magazine, 2026 - issue 1.
