The head of our state expressed his satisfaction with meeting the people of Karakalpakstan during the 35th anniversary of our independence. In recent years, a lot of funds, privileges and conditions have been created for the region.

Profit, land and property taxes were doubled, the electricity tariff for industry was reduced by 15%, and the social tax was set at 1%. Last year, 1 billion 700 million dollars were invested in Karakalpakstan.

This is 22 times more than in 2021. This year, the economy of Karakalpakstan has become one of the fastest growing regions.

In the first half of this year, the economy grew by 10.2 percent, and the region took the second place after Tashkent.
