ONE ROOT, ONE ENLIGHTENMENT:
UZBEKISTAN - TURKEY FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE A forum of scientists and intellectuals of Uzbekistan and Turkey will be held in Hatay, Ankara and Istanbul on October 4-10 of this year. Forum Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment is being organized in cooperation with "Marifat" society of propagandists and Institute of Social and Spiritual Research.
The main goal of the forum is to bring the two brotherly nations closer on the basis of common history, language, culture and spiritual values, to develop scientific, educational and cultural cooperation, and to expand the exchange of experience between scientists and intellectuals. Within the framework of the project, spiritual and educational events aimed at widely celebrating the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with compatriots living in Turkey will be organized.
In them, special attention is paid to the issues of independence of the Motherland, national development, historical memory and further strengthening of the spiritual ties of our compatriots with Uzbekistan. The program of the forum included cultural and educational events in Hatay region, meetings at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University, Ankara University of Social Sciences, Writers' Union of Turkey and Istanbul University of Culture, presentation of the book "Triumph of Independence" and signing ceremonies of cooperation memorandums.
In addition, cultural and educational programs aimed at widely promoting the historical and cultural commonality of the peoples of Uzbekistan and Turkey will be implemented in Khatay region. One of the important events of the forum is the presentation of the book "Uzbekistan I Know" by Kemal Yavuz Ataman, a Turkish scientist and public figure.
This book was published in Uzbek and Turkish languages on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The book reflects the history of Uzbekistan, today's development, the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of our people, and the author's impressions of our country.
The presentation of Professor Abduhalil Mavrulov's book "Snapshots from the History of the Culture of Uzbekistan" will also be held at the forum. It is also planned to develop cooperation on the "Wing of Mercy" social project, and to organize cultural and educational events within the framework of the "One table - two brotherly nations" project.
