Bukhara Region

Bukhara Region is a jewel of the Great Silk Road and one of the world's oldest cities. For centuries Bukhara was a center of Islamic learning, architecture and crafts, with more than 2,500 years of history. Over 140 architectural monuments survive, and gold embroidery and carpet weaving remain alive.
