The head of state noted that the economy of our country has increased 3 times in recent years, and a great goal has been achieved to increase its volume to 240 billion dollars by 2030.
Today, 4,000 kilometers of transit roads of international importance passed through the territory of Uzbekistan. Currently, 30 percent of international roads are working at full capacity, and another 25 percent are overloaded.
When the "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" and Trans-Afghan railways are put into operation, Uzbekistan will become the main link of the shortest land corridor from the Pacific Ocean to Europe. Also, access to the Indian Ocean and South Asian markets, home to nearly 2 billion people, will be opened through Pakistani ports.
According to estimates, if Uzbekistan receives an additional 15-20 million tons of international transit cargo per year, $400-600 million will be earned, $3 billion will be invested in the construction of logistics centers and terminals, and at least 50,000 stable jobs will be created.
