Andijan is creating new opportunities for diversifying its economy, forming modern production facilities and introducing innovative technologies.
Today, large-scale reforms, huge creative works and investment projects in our country indicate that our country is moving to a new stage of development.
In particular, within the framework of the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Andijan region, the launch of new investment projects and the start of the construction of new objects became important for the region's economic potential, innovation opportunities and future development.
Within the framework of the visit, 206 investment projects with a total value of 9 billion 400 million dollars were covered. Of these, 98 projects worth 2 billion 50 million dollars were launched, and the construction of 108 projects worth 7 billion 350 million dollars was started. The fact that these projects cover all 16 cities and districts of the region shows that investment activity and creativity are being carried out on a large scale in the Andijan region.
Also, the projects implemented in such important fields as energy, construction, textile, mechanical engineering, education, tourism, logistics, pharmaceutical and health care create new opportunities for diversification of the regional economy, formation of modern production capacities and introduction of innovative technologies.
Within the framework of the projects, initiatives such as the production of necessary equipment for electric buses, solar panels and small hydroelectric plants, the establishment of modern educational and medical centers, and the establishment of international logistics and tourism centers are envisaged.
