📝 The Constitutional Law "On Tashkent International Financial Center" was signed by the President.
This is one of the most important economic innovations of this year and a logical result of our systematic reforms that have been implemented for almost ten years, - said Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
📌 This document is an important institutional reform aimed at forming a financial infrastructure in our country that meets international standards, further improving the investment environment, and increasing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan in the international capital markets.
✅ A separate legal regime will be introduced for investors and financial organizations in the territory of the Tashkent International Financial Center. The Center has an independent financial regulator, the Tashkent International Commercial Court and modern dispute resolution mechanisms. This serves to provide legal guarantees and a stable business environment for international investors.
🔅 The new center will be developed as a modern financial ecosystem covering banking and investment services, capital market, insurance, Islamic finance, fintech, digital assets, asset management, legal and consulting services.
❗️ By 2030, through this initiative, it is planned to attract additional investments of up to 20-25 billion US dollars, to make an additional contribution to the annual growth of the economy, to create up to 15,000 highly qualified jobs and to improve the qualifications of 10,000 specialists.
✅ This will serve to develop the private sector, expand innovative financial services and further increase the investment attractiveness of the country.
📌 The establishment of the Tashkent International Financial Center is an important strategic step of Uzbekistan towards building an open, competitive and deeply integrated economy into the international financial system.
